"I have worked with, and seen thousands of athletes who are recognized on a local, state and national level for their athletic as well as academic achievements. The successful pursuit of excellence in any endeavor is worthy of recognition and honor. But I never came across an award that recognizes and honors those students who excel in athletics, academics and their personal walk with Christ. The SportQuest Playing with Purpose Program is the only national program that recognizes these elite individuals for their accomplishments in all areas of life. Those students who are successful on the field, in the classroom and on their campus as a Christian leader are worthy of our highest honor and recognition. The SportQuest Playing with Purpose Program has recognized and met this need since 1996. I have personally been on the selection committee, and the nominees from across the country are the cream of the crop.
