Highlights and Quotes: With many accolades from a very successful high school sports and academic career, Logan sought to do even more. “I realized that I wanted to do something more for the world. I was inspired to integrate my skills in running with my love for others and the Lord. It eventually hit me about a month later; I would create a fundraiser running team,” said Logan. Logan proceeded to raise over $8000 through his running team and donated over $5000 to Surfing the Nations, a non-profit humanitarian aid organization. Logan added, “I found peace knowing that I had finally given back in a way that would change someone’s life.” Logan has made a commitment to live a Christian lifestyle and influence his peers in a positive manner. “I watched many of my friends drift into the patterns of this world while I made a vow not to partake in any of the stereotypes of high school life. I took my promise to choose a Christian life very seriously. It made all the difference in high school, and I pray every day that I am an influence on my friends.” |
